Canadian Septic Inc. was founded by James Stiksma, who in 2016, acquired the assets of a well-respected local company called Septic Expert. This acquisition built upon a legacy of over a decade of experience in the industry. As the new government regulations came into force in 2005, Septic Expert was one of the first companies to be certified by ASTTBC, ensuring they were compliant with the new Standard of Practice. Since then, James has enlisted the help of his brother-in-law, Arien Brouwer, to help integrate modern technologies and continue to deliver a top-of-the-line customer experience.

James founded Canadian Septic in 2016 and has built the company around expertise, reliability, and customer care. As a Registered Onsite Wastewater Practitioner (ROWP) Planner & Installer, he specializes in designing, installing, and maintaining septic systems. James also serves as President of WCOWMA-BC, where he advocates for higher industry standards and better training.

With extensive hands-on experience in both residential and commercial systems, he ensures every install, inspection, and repair is done right the first time.
